Ben
Schofield
a noisy Bradford lad

|
A scatologically
cerebral comic thinker with a keen eye for the absurd and countless
performances in top northern venues and several television appearances
(including Stand Up Britain for ITV).
"Ben's loud and remarkably confident
personality was a sure winner with the crowd… had the
masses rolling out of their seats… a set of brilliant
stand up comedy” www.bbc.co.uk (Feb 2005)
‘Impressive…quality material
delivered in an animated fashion…took the atmosphere in
the place up a gear with a well-paced high energy set with some
great punchlines…best act of the night…Ben Schofield
rocks!’

sucks you into his world with obscurely brilliant comedy"

Zak
Turner |
An original act, looking at everyday
life from hilarious angles, involving them in bizarre but true
stories. His style is a delight, hitting his audience with very
funny visual comedy when they least expect it.

The
Red guards
are a three piece band from the Peterborough area influenced
by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan. They
have been together for 2 years and have played various venues
throughout Peterborough regularly. They play their own original
material as well as a select few covers, with a style not too
dissimilar to Radiohead. Whilst currently unsigned they have
a large following of loyal supporters. The Red Guards first
E.P, Nocturne was released in early April 2005.

Nick
Brooks, singer-songwriter
from the Peterborough area influenced by the likes of The Beatles,
Bob Dylan, The Libertines, The Who, Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin.
He started playing the guitar after listening to Oasis on constant
repeat. Although shy to sing, Nick has a soft voice, reminiscent
of Turin Breaks. He plays a blend of interpretations of tracks
by local bands, covers, and his own material. |
