Spikey Mike

Spiky Mike is a Nottingham-based act, who's been on the circuit since 2002. He is resident compere at Nottingham Get A Grip and Funhouse Clubs in Derby and Leicester and has compered the Jongleurs J20 competition. He has well written material and a friendly, likeable stage manner.

In 2003 got to the final of The Weakest Link. Winner of Chalk or Cheese on Radio 1's Mark and Lard Show.

The Red guards three piece band from the Peterborough area influenced by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan. They have been together for 2 years and have played various venues throughout Peterborough regularly. They play their own original material as well as a select few covers, with a style not too dissimilar to Radiohead. Whilst currently unsigned they have a large following of loyal supporters. The Red Guards first E.P, Nocturne was released in early April 2005.
