Jono Dilley

Open Mike spot

Jono Dilley

Jono Dilley is very new to comedy and has not done many gigs!

He began well and the audience was with him - but then.... comedy is not easy !

Kevin Shepherd

Kevin's friendly face and light touch comedy was a hit with the Knutters. He got hold of the audience and held them to the end, they really listened and laughed.

Afterwards Kevin said he had enjoyed the gig. The audience enjoyed it too. Thanks Kevin,

Big D

BIG D

Big Dave Noseley got a tight grip on the audience and had fun with them. He was a big hit - particularly with the female members of the audience. The evening was going well and Big D helped everything move along. He enjoyed himself and our Knutters enjoyed his aerobics.

A lively and interesting act. Thanks Big D.

Steve Young
WOW!!!

We have had Steve at Knuts before - and every time it is a completely different set. This man is a comic genius.

His opening on hunting quail had the audience laughing. His top ten of people to be shot had the full agreement of the audience. But his vagina monologue - on how to lick pussy - had everyone in hysterics. If this man was on TV I would stay at home and switch on the normally disappointing box.

Hey BBC and ITV and Channel 4 and Channel 5 - where are you looking for comedy? At Knuts we are seeing the real thing..

Steve Young

Our headliner was supposed to be Mandy Muden - Knut's compere John Elson has seen her and thinks she is wonderful. Then - horror of horrors - Mandy was ill. But Mandy is a true professional - she found a replacement - Marian Pashley.

Marian had to follow Steve Young - and he had knocked out a headliner act that would be next to impossible to top.

Enter Marian Pashely.

O.K. she is female. And a Northerner. But ....

... a brilliant set.

Thanks Marian. A brilliant finish to a memorable evening (and thanks Mandy for providing such a fantactic replacement - we look forward to your set at Knuts)..

James Chadwick

James Chadwick
