KNUT's Club
  Friday 12th May 2006

At The City Club

Warning - the show can contain very adult content!!!
Thanks Cassidy, for making this clear.

A Really Special Show this month - there will be five comics plus Jeremy Watson and the Blues Crusaders - a treat for lovers of comedy and a bonus for lovers of top quality Blues

Steve Young

Steve was on top form and but the gags came so fast that the Knutters loved it. His sheer energy on stage is awesome - not many comics could get away with a speech from Shakespeare as a part of their set but Steve did and had the audience cheering.

Juliet Myers

Juliet Myers comic

Juliet took over the audience and played with them. Her confidence and energy had the crowd loving her, her gags and her sharp punch lines.

This woman is a gem of a comic.

Laura Nunn

Laura is going from strength to strength. We last saw her at Knuts in April 2005 - our Knutters loved her then - and loved her even more this time.

Dick Underwood

I first saw Dick at Bury St Edmunds and his relaxed and self deprecating humour was a real hit with the audience.

Somehow he didn't hit the same spot with our Knutters - comedy is a difficult.

and Matt Keston Matt is a newcomer, and his nerves showed - but he is developing some excellent material and when things started to go wrong he was able to engage the audience and keep them on his side.

Jeremy Watson and The Blues Crusaders

sponsored by Hugh Nicholls

What can we say? This was top quality blues - musically first rate - a band made up of superb musician who clearly love what they do. A brilliant set.

The Knut House Band the Blue Genies
