The Prince of Wales Feathers - Castor - Peterborough

Brilliant Comics and James Chadwick

Warning - the show can contain very adult content!!!
Thanks Cassidy, for making this clear.

a noisy Bradford lad

Ben Schofield

A scatologically cerebral comic thinker with a keen eye for the absurd and countless performances in top northern venues and several television appearances.

"Ben's loud and remarkably confident personality was a sure winner with the crowd… had the masses rolling out of their seats… a set of brilliant stand up comedy”

‘Impressive…quality material delivered in an animated fashion…took the atmosphere in the place up a gear with a well-paced high energy set with some great punchlines…best act of the night…Ben Schofield rocks!’

‘Never fails to delight…had the crowd in stitches!’

Jim Smallman

A manic depressive, dark little oddball of a man who tells jokes on topics ranging from the odd sex life of my parents to Disney films to buttercups via the Pussycat Dolls.

"...There is something intriguing about him... his outlook is sarcastic and frustrated, which he can focus into a perfect gag. His bad taste Pussycat Dolls is an instant classic." - Chortle, May 2006

"... a storming set from Jim Smallman... cracking a string of hilarious jokes"

"a lanky, big eared, cocksmith from Lincoln"

Stuart Wilde

" A dry morose humour that was beautifully understated. He had a natural rapport with the crowd" Stuart Dalziel, bbc.co.uk

"Commanding stage presence, with some great material" Mark Charlton, Leicester Mercury

"He never visits me! He's a right c***!" - Beryl Beards (Stuart's nan)

Laura Nunn

Laura (Nota) Nunn - extremely funny observational, adult material, a really good female comic, ... and she's pretty too. Laura says she is looking for a rubish husband. She doesn't mind whose. She is not too excited about coming to Castor since I told her all Castor husbands are wonderful - however, there my be some from Ailsworth so she could get lucky. Read Laura's Plog here.

singer song writer
James Chadwick

He performed at the Castor Summer Fete. If you haven't seen him - don't miss - if you have - then you will be coming.

"Lovely, fully formed songs, rich singing and really sharp guitar playing. A bit like Nick Drake meets Nic Jones... Great."
Karine Polwart
