"A party of armed men numbering less than seven are thieves; between seven and thirty-five are a band; more than that is an army." King Knut.

King Knut offers 4 types of membership.

1. Become a Carle

Join Knut's Army - become a part of the comitatus and get the title of Carle.

Joining is easy, just Contact the King
claiming your right to be a Carle and giving your email address.

You will receive an email in reply - conferring the honour. And thereafter you will receive Knut's News emails - ocasional jokes and reminders about Knut's Club - when it is next on and the line-up .

2. Become a þegn (thegn)

Being a þegn has all the benefits of being a Carle but makes you much more important. All you have to do is bring a group  of people with you and enjoy the night with friends - then get them to become Carles

 

3. Become an Ealdorman

To become an Ealdorman you must sponsor Knut's club - either generally

or by sponsoring an act

Ealdorman Hugh Nicholls
sponsor for The Blue Crusaders

4. Become a dróttin

Perform at the show and you become be a dróttin.
